Products reach the catalogue through the hub network rather than through open submission. A producer is introduced by the hub that already works with them in their region.
The Agri-Food Hub and the Culture and Heritage Hub know the producers in their territories, and that relationship is what admission rests on. It means a slower catalogue and a smaller one, which is the trade we intend to make.
Regional coordinators visit, talk to the producer, and understand how the work is actually done before anything is listed.
That the product genuinely comes from the region it claims, that the producer can describe their process honestly, and that they can supply consistently enough for a listing to mean something to a buyer.
